It also was way back then that the name Nichols Bros. became synonymous with an unrelenting commitment to design excellence and manufacturing quality. Nichols Bros. launched the CruiseCraft brand in 1960 and its first fibreglass model in 1967. The following decades brought about a host of award winning fibreglass boat designs and a strengthening interest in the CruiseCraft brand for strong and reliable fishing boats. In 2006, the CruiseCraft Company celebrated its 60th Anniversary Year in the Australian boat manufacturing business. With 14 Boat of The Year titles as well as other accolades to its credit, CruiseCraft still continues to lead the industry in design excellence, innovation and quality. The range is divided into 4 categories. The 'Resorts' are a bowrider style of boat perfect for family, skiing and day cruising. The 'Explorers' are a cabin boat with a larger cockpit area ideal for inshore and offshore work and the 'Outsiders' are a walkaround style with larger cabins suitable for both fishing and family boating.
