The Yamaha Single Ram Trailering Tilt Motor Support has been designed to allow highway transport of your boat with the motor in a tilted position. It suits all engines with a single ram trim and tilt system. The trailering support prevents the motor from returning to the vertical position and possible contact with the road surface. The Motor Support also prevents excessive loads, created by road surface conditions and from damaging the tilt assembly. The Yamaha Trailering Motor Support can be cut to size, if your outboard sits too high or you have problems with tilting your motor high enough to install this support. Simply cut the Motor Support to the appropriate length using a mitre or hacksaw.

After installing the outboard trailering support(s), the outboard is tilted down until the trim rods start to retract. The Yamaha Outboard Trailering Support can be customised for applications with restricted full tilt up angles due to interference with the boat or other components. A maximum of 1-_" may be removed from the overall length to permit installation of the trailering supports. Cut lines, in _" increments, are located on the trailering support for ease of cutting. When reducing the overall length, cut or grind off material to duplicate the original end taper, on the cut end, to allow proper function of the outboard trailering supports. Failure to taper the cut end will cause damage to the support and prevent proper support of the outboard. Note: 1 only is supplied as that is all that is required.
