Quintrex 420 Renegade

Hello Jon, Thanks for your email and its always a pleasure to deal with you folk. My new 420 TS Renegade is the third new boat I’ve bought from Ian Coops and Hunts Marine, the first being a 420 TS Renegade with a 50 HP E-Tec, the second a 390 Outback Explorer and now another Renegade. I sold my first Renegade privately downsizing to the Outback, but whilst it was a great little boat it was too unstable for my wife and I being in our mid-eighties so hang the expense I opted for another Renegade, I knew what a great boat it is and will be much more stable and have great rough water capabilities should we need it.

I’ve almost finished fitting all the accessories I removed from the Outback such as Minn Kota, Fusion lifepo4 deep cycle battery, Garmin Echo-map 95 SV sounder, flipper guides and spare wheel etc. So far, the boat hasn’t had its maiden voyage due to the cold weather etc. Once I spend some time enjoying the boat and running in the motor, I’ll happily write a review for you. It might be a while before I bring my boat in for its 20-hour service.
