This is the first boat I've ever owned, so I relied heavily on the team at Hunts Marine to guide and support me in my decision to buy. The boat was prepared perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the friendliness and professionalism of Ian and the team supporting him. I wouldn't hesitate to buy through Hunts Marine again.

I am now a proud owner of a Quintrex 481 Fishabout. I say proud as I have been looking for a boat that had to satisfy all my requirements which included a light towable boat under 1 tonne, my tow vehicle is a Rav 4 max tow 2.5 tonne, the boat had to fit in my garage, I needed a boat that is wide and stable when at anchor, it had to be as light as possible so my wife and I could it manage it safely as we are retired now, the power of the E TEC 75 has the WOW factor, I found the steering was heavy for my wife and myself and Blake at Hunts Marine said no problem so I am having power steering fitted. All in all the presentation of the trailer, boat, and the many options available made it easy for me to select a combination that ticked all the boxes for my requirements. I am really looking forward to enjoying this boat, to me this is a little big boat. Cheers,

My wife and I first had a close look at the Cruisecraft range at the 2017 Sydney Boat Show. Blake and the Hunts Marine team from Wollongong had ventured up to the big smoke at Darling Harbour. I was looking to upgrade from my 20 year old Haines Signature cuddy cabin and the intention was to go and check out the latest boats just to get a feel of what was out there within our budget, not that we had an exact price point in mind. After looking at many boats, we came across the Hunts Cruisecraft display and in no time at all it became very clear to us that the sheer quality of the Cruise craft brand was second to none. Stemming from a long career in aerospace engineering, I guess you could say that I am quite a fussy guy and attention to detail comes quite naturally to me. I was literally in awe of what I saw with the Explorer 530 as it was badged then, in my eyes this was a quality boat and from that moment on all other boats rated a distant last. Following the Boat Show I spent many hours trolling the internet, learning all about the Cruisecraft range, the company history, photos and stories from other Cruisecraft owners. Soon after the 530 was changed to a 568 and the maximum HP was lifted to 150. To me this was the icing on the cake, with a full pay load I was confident this boat could do the deed in the Mid North Coast waterways which is my boating playground. And to date the boat has not changed my mind albeit I have only completed 11 engine hours. Taking delivery of a new boat in the middle of winter is definitely cramping my style. Now that the motor has exceeded the 10 hour run in period I am looking forward to seeing how it handles the open sea on our trips out to Broughton Island, Seal Rocks and across the Foster bar. My 568 Explorer / 150HP is definitely my pride and joy, complete with the deluxe stainless steel targa, electric stress free winch and seadek floor. I love my boat in case you couldn’t tell !
