Quintrex 450 Fishabout with 60hp Yamaha Testimonial

In March 2021 we visited Hunts Marine in Yallah with the view of upsizing my current 2007 Quintrex 420 Dory, 30 HP 2 stroke tiller steer for something much easier to operate and more comfortable. We were introduced to Blake McArthur who explained the different boats available, the availability of these boats, the pricing & a trade-in value. Away we went with quotes for the 430 & 450 Fishabout Pro to ponder. I did some on line homework looking at various packages which were priced similarly but did not include any accessories, radio, ski pole, floor sealing. We decided on the 450, the trailer being longer with aluminium “I” beam frame & brakes, the boats themselves nearly identical. We then placed the order with Hunts Marine in mid March with delivery date expected late May, early June. We picked up the 450 Fishabout Pro in mid June from Hunts in Carlton. Blake sorted out the registration & insurance for us & brought the boat up from Yallah. Jon Hunt went through all the operating procedures, safety equipment & servicing requirements with us. The guys in the yard had washed & polished everything, great job guys. Once home I was surprised to find the cleaning products left in the boat for us. Great experience, great people to deal with. We would highly recommend Hunts Marine for all your boating needs.
