First of all I would like to say thanks to Blake and his staff from Hunts Marine of Wollongong, your knowledge and support both at your shop as well as the boat show was great to say the least. The F481 Hornet stood up to all expectation I was after and more, the handling in and out of the water with the new trailer was brilliant, the boat was set up exactly as I asked. The towing of the boat was better than I expected, highway speed was as though it wasn't even on the back.

I had a chance to get it in the water on the afternoon of pick up, I went straight to St George's Basin NSW and with only one push it slid off the trailer without any problems at all. At speed it handled superbly, after you alter the trim it even went better. On return I drove it straight on and just lent over the front and secured it to the trailer then drove out without any issues. (Blake told me you can just drive it on and off and he was right, it's great).

The motor started up first go and people on the wharf thought it was a 4 stroke and were very surprised to find out it was a 2 stroke. The 90HP ETEC has pleanty of grunt for this boat.

I would have no hesitation at all to recommend Hunts Marine to anyone. Lots of fun to come. Thanks Blake. Regards,

Hi, I bought a Quintrex F481 Hornet from Hunts Marine from Brad Cottier, (at the Sydney Boatshow) and from day one I was impressed. Not only did I receive a great boat package but Brad was Honest, and knows his product which is important when buying a boat because fisherman are extremely fussy when it comes to boats. My F481 Hornet has a 90 ETEC on the back which is perfectly matched to the boat for my needs, it has actually exceeded my expectations as far as performance.

I chose the ETEC because of previous experiences I've had with them, this is my third over my fishing career and I've never had an issue as far as reliability, economy, and of course power.With a few goodies we added to the boat like rod locker, extra plumbed live bait tank, Minn Kota, and a great 7" sounder/gps, it is hard to not be more happy with this boat. I have bought boats from a few places now in the past 30 years but the service I get from Hunts is a new experience, they answer phones, questions, and are boat and water sport professionals.

I would recommend and have already, Hunts Marine to anyone looking for a boat to suit any kind of water sport. great Experience. Thanks.

Hi Jon, it is with pleasure that I provide the following notes on my recent purchase of a Quintrex Trident 610 Hardtop. My sales person was Mr Ian Coops. From beginning to end, with many, many emails and phone calls in-between, Ian remained responsive and courteous (and very knowledgable in a most practical way). I am a scientist by 'trade' and this is my fourth boat, and by far, the best one. At well over $100,000 it was not cheap; I wanted all sorts of gear on the Trident, as I plan to go out, and stay out, overnight. The work done by Hunts by first rate and believe me (as an amateur engineer on top of being a scientist) I am pedantic and demanding. I make my own parts on a lathe and know a fair bit about GPSs, radars, rate compasses and so on. Although there were a few scratches and chips on the paint, here and there, I am pretty sure these were done by Quintrex, at the factory, not Hunts. The Trident also has a StressFree anchor and trailer winch, and a BoatLatch, the latter being well known as 'tricky to fit'. Everything was done properly at Hunts.

One of the things that really amazed me (and still does) is that as I added on extras, some of which were expensive, the total price didn't really go up all that much. The fitment done by Hunts was class; no threaded nuts or bolts, sealant applied properly, and all the gear working perfectly on pick-up. The trailer winch flexed quite a bit when recovering the boat, but again, was set up according to the manufacturer, so thumbs up! (Since then I have added 4 M9 Stainless Steel nuts/bolts and the flexing has gone).

I do need to mention the camping body, arranged by Hunts and done by Mobile Boat Covers (http://www.mobileboatcovers.com.au/). It fits; it's pretty; it can be rolled up or taken off completely in a minute; and almost no rain gets in. And, I can still walk all around the boat; well done Mobile Boat Covers. And the roof (the Bimini) is cantilevered, so there are only a single set of poles on a 6.3 m (LOA) boat. Whether fishing or relaxing, that extra space is worth gold in my opinion.

Finally, my fourth (and last) boat ran 80 km/h (43 knots) on our first test run in Sydney, just as Hunts said it would. I wholeheartedly and unconditionally recommend Hunts Marine. Real professions in world where that term is looking a little 'bankrupted'. It was, and continues to be, a pleasure dealing with Hunts Marine. The service provided by Blake and his team was first rate and I was very appreciative of him getting my boat ready for the Sept school holidays, despite its late arrival from the factory. The boat turned out better than I imagined and suits my fishing needs and the families leisure needs.

I have just purchased my second boat from Hunts Marine - a Quintrex 440 centre console with 60hp 4 stroke. I purchased the boat while travelling in WA, specifying everything by email and phone and never felt I was going to get anything other than a great outcome. Hi Jon, Just got your thank you letter regarding my recent purchase of the above from Blake and the team at Blakehurst. Awesome, no other words for it! I bought this sight unseen and it was everything and more than I expected. Living in Mildura, Victoria which is 1,000kmu2019s away it was a fair risk but the honesty, integrity and professionalism shown by Blake was second to none. Honestly I was blown away that such customer service still existed.

My son and I drove for 11 hours to reach the shop around 3.45pm on a Friday and the boys even gave up their beer ou2019clock to ensure that they had gone over the customer satisfaction checklist in fine detail. I think it was about 5.30 by the time we drove out the yard with the biggest smile on both our faces.
