A band splitter is a great product as it allows you to get good AM/FM radio reception using your existing VHF or 27 Meg antenna so you don't have to fit a second stereo aerial. They are just a simple plug and play device and are just inserted inline in the existing antenna lead with the AM/FM jack then just plugged straight into the back of your stereo.

The Furuno FCV-295 is a 10.4″ full colcour fishfinder that allows a wide selection of operating frequencies. You may choose any two frequencies between 28 and 200 kHz to fit your fishing operation. Output power is selectable from 1, 2 or 3 kW. A wide variety of display modes and functions are available, which provide skippers with simple and intuitive information. Some key features of this unit are Furuno’s digital filter to optimize the gain to obtain highly defined images of underwater conditions. White Edge – which displays the top of the seabed in white to easily discern seabed structure from bottom fish returns and Quick Gain Control. With the FCV-295’s Quick Gain control, changes in the Gain setting are applied to not only the new echoes, but to all past echoes on the screen. The Furuno FCV-588 is the next generation on from the FCV-587 and is an award winning dual frequency (50 kHz and 200 kHz) colour digital fish finder also featuring Furuno’s RezBoost technology. The FCV-588 displays underwater conditions in a 8.4″ 640 by 480 waterproof super-bright LCD screen which is still viewable in direct sunlight. The Furono FCV-588 features the same filtering capabilities and auto adjustments as the FCV-628. It has all the same capabilities and specifications as the 628 except it has an output power up to 1Kw as opposed to the FCV-628’s 600 watts. The Furuno GP330B external Antenna is only 99mm in diameter and sits 83mm high. It is accurate to within 3 mtrs when using the WAAS mode. Designed for use with the TZT2 12″ and 15″ units it eliminates satellite dropout from the inbuilt antenna when the head unit is fiited in the cabin of a large cruiser style vessel. It can output data in either NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 format, allowing use with NavNet 3D systems amoung others. It includes a 6mtr cable and NMEA2000 connector.
