The Garmin full network capable 8400XSV range consists of the, 8410, 8412 and 8416 and the difference between all three is just the size of the flat HD IPS touchscreen display. You can get either 10, 12 or 16 inch and all three can be either bracket or flush mounted. They are designed for sportfishermen, cruisers, sailors and sailing racers who demand high performance, ease of operation and feature integration in a chartplotter/sonar combo. They are beautiful widescreen multitouch fully networked devices with premium sonar and mapping functionality. All GPSMAP 8400XSV combos includes built-in dual CHIRP sonar plus CHIRP ClearVu and CHIRP SideVu scanning sonar with the clearest images on the water. They also support the entire Panoptix all-seeing trandsucer setup. It's internal 10 Hz GPS updates your position and heading 10 times per second. They are all fully network capable and supports radar, autopilot, instruments, multiple screens, FUSION-Link, sensors, remote sonar modules, digital switching, thermal cameras, grid rotary knob, joystick and keypad control and offers the conveniences of built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Garmin GT23 TM suits the 752xs and 952xs and is a traditional CHIRP 600W transducer with 500W ClearVu. It is perfect for coastal and offshore fisherman who want CHIRP traditional sonar and ClearVu scanning sonar. This transom mount transducer consistently displays clear and crisp fish arches with superior target separation as well as clear definition of structure below the boat. It has temperature as well. It will read to about 500m traditional and 300m ClearVu.

The Garmin GT51 is a 600W transducer is a deep water version of the GT52 and also provides a super clear image of anything that passes to the side or below you boat. It has a traditional down sonar and CHIRP ClearVu and SideVu all optimised together for clearer imagery at deeper depths. The 600W down sonar operates on a 80 - 160 kHz frequency to give you a max depth of approx 500m and the 500W 260-455 khz CHIRP ClearVu to 300m and sideVu will read to approx 100m. It has a 12 pin connector on a 30ft cable and the water temperature sensor is standard. Dimensions are 228mm long, 62mm wide and 30mm high (excluding bracket).

The Garmin GT56UHD-TM all-in-one transducer provides image details so clear and precise, you can actually see fish hanging just off branches of submerged trees, brush and rocks. You can see size differences between bigger and smaller fish and even see individual fish swimming in bait balls. You get the highest resolution ClearVu and SideVu scanning sonar images available plus amazingly clear high wide CHIRP traditional sonar. The Garmin 752xs, 952xsv, 1022xsv and 1222xsv have pretty much all the same specifications as the echoMap units above however they all support the Garmin marine network which allows sharing of sonar, maps, user data, radar, IP cameras and Panoptix sonar amount multiple units. It has NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 support for network connectivity including autopilots, digital switching, weather, FUSION-link, VHF, AIS and other sensors. All 4 units have a 10 Hz internal GPS antenna that can save up to 5000 waypoints and 100 routes. They all have a transmit power of up to 1kW.

The Garmin Striker Vivid 7sv is one step up again from the Vivid 7cv. With all the same fishfinder and GPS specifications and using the same high quality 7 inch colour screen, the 75sv also incorporates Side Vu all in the one transducer to let you see what is on the left and right of your boat. So what is the benefits of sideVu? Garmin ClearVu scanning sonar gives you a nearly photographic image of what passes 300m below your boat. Garmin SideVu scanning sonar gives you a crisp, clear view of what lies up to 200m off to each side of your boat. You clearly see structure, submerged objects and fish. The Garmin Striker Vivid 9sv has all the same specifications as the 7sv above including ClearVu and SideVu however it comes with a 9 inch 800 x 480V Pixel WVGA high colour screen. With its built in high-sensitivity GPS you can see your position in relation to one of 5000 waypoints you have marked. Use the plotter screen to easily view, mark and navigate to locations such as underground structure, drop offs and fishing hot spots. The 9sv is supplied with the GT52HW-TM transom mount transducer which includes High wide CHIRP sonar and both ClearVu and SideVu scanning sonars all in the one compact unit.

The Garmin TM256 LM is a 1 kW plastic transom mount transducer and performs well in deep water and provides exceptional bottom and water column detail. This best performing 1kW transom mount has a maximum depth of 900m, an operating frequency of 42 to 65 kHz and 85 to 135 kHz, a beam width of 16 to 25 degrees and mounts on a 3 to 21 degree transom.
