The larger escape hatches are designed with two struts and two twist locks and the smaller ventilation hatches use one strut and one locking lever. Each strut comes standard with a twist lock brace to hold the lid in any position up to 95 degrees. A quick release pin enables the struts to be detached from the frame, allowing the hatch to open to a full 180 degrees.

Removable Oval Cockpit Table

There is no original Quintrex cockpit table as they just come from 3rd party suppliers but this is the most common one and the one we use in all our other boats. The tables are made from UV stabilised high impact plastic and the pedestals are silver anodised aluminium. The thread-lock pedestal system allows the table and pedestal pole to be quickly and easily removed from the base for storage. The thread lock also includes a ratchet lock mechanism for very steady and secure mounting. This is a really easy table to fit as the base only needs to be screwed down to the floor and you don't need to recess a big hole in the middle. The base only sits up about 15mm and is tapered on the sides so you cant kick your feet on it either. The base diameter is 180mm, the pole is 680mm high and the table top is 760mm long by 460mm wide.
