The Savwinch Signature Series (SS) is their premium range of Drum Winch and is what we fit on all our trailerboats. As we fit them inhouse, we genuinely know what we are talking about and are only a phone call away if advice is needed. They feature a complete stainless steel motor, designed locally and exclusively for Savwinch. Machined to fine tolerances and utilising O ring seals, the SS series motors are IP68 rated and are completely submersible without the use of sealants or glues. You no longer need to be concerned about water ingress or corrosion. The motors can be moved into 12 different positions to ensure that each Drum Winch can be installed on almost any vessel.

Once you select the correct size for your boat, the winch is generally mounted on the rear of the anchor locker, provided it is strong enough and reinforced with the backing plate on the inside of the boat. If you have an aluminium boat like a Quintrex with a roto moulded anchor well then just purchase the plate below and still mount the winch inside the anchor locker but bolt it to the plate upside down and bolt the plate across the top of the anchor well. They can also be mounted just on top of the deck. Check out all the pictures as one of them shows the different mounting options and what extra may be needed. The only one its doesn't show is when you mount the winch upside down to the custom plate below that is bolted across the top of the anchor well. (What we use on Quintrex and Stacer boats)

Made from stainless steel, the oval Hawse hole is 160mm long by 115mm wide by 34mm high and has a throat diameter of 105mm by 52mm. The lid is permanently attached with a security chain and the cutouts in the lid and base fits into the anchor chain to hold the lid down.

The Viper 1000W winch is ideal for a wide range of larger boats, including cuddy cabins, walkarounds, cruisers and bow riders from 5.7 metres. the winch features a heavy duty waterproof motor and gearbox within an all stainless steel housing to handle the tough marine environment.

It features a quick fall rate of 50 metres per minute with a retrieval rate of 45 metres per minute. Supplied complete with 100m x 6mm premium double braid rope. Complete kit includes 8m x 6mm short link chain with stainless steel anchor swivel and deluxe guide roller. Electrics supplied to operate the winch include 100 amp circuit breaker, 200 amp reversing solenoid and 12 volt illuminated up/down rocker switch for easy operation. The stainless steel laser etched switch surrounds allow for a choice of mounting options. To complete the package a stainless steel sandwich plate and mounting hardware is included.

Hand polished marine grade 316 stainless steel hawse pipe is perfect for cuddy cabs, centre consoles or bow riders with very small anchor wells. The rope and chain simply comes straight up through the deck and out to the bow roller. Opening Dia:76mm H: 140mm D: 140mm

The stainless steel Gravity Feed has been designed without any additional electronics, wiring or solenoids that can be the downfall in harsh boating environments, hence making our mechanical design a preferred method when it comes to a Free Fall Drum Winch. The winch features a heavy duty 1000W waterproof motor and gearbox within an all stainless steel housing to handle the tough marine environment.
