NO NEW DRILL HOLES REQUIRED. This is a pretty cool product and makes a great gift. If the boat has a large bung (40mm instead of the smaller 25mm) then this just fits straight on and fastens via the existing 4 screws. You just remove the old bung and housing and screw this one on with a bit of sealant. You don't need to drill a hole through the boat for the 12v wire as it runs internally in the black housing and then into your boat via the bung hole.
