We currently have 2 positions available within the three Hunts Marine shops. Both the Sydney and Batemans Bay stores and looking for a Mechanic/Installer. Days can be flexible and can either be full time or permanent part time. We can scale the work accordingly so there is some flexibility.

Hunts Marine Sydney and Batemans Bay is currently looking for a Marine Mechanic. This could include someone that is already qualified, a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or definitely someone wishing to transition from auto to marine.
The Sydney store is located in West St, Carlton not far from Botany Bay and has been recently renovated with a new workshop built. Everything is clean and new.
Batemans Bay is located 3 ½ hours south of Sydney on the beautiful Clyde River. With pristine waterways to the abundance of fresh local seafood, and not to mention sensational fishing, the South Coast of NSW is calling you!
You will be responsible in undertaking the following:
- Service & repairs on late model outboard engines
- Fitting of new outboard motors
- Trailer servicing & repairs
- Installation of boat accessories & electronics
- Diagnosing & fault finding on engines
- On water testing of boats & watercraft
The successful applicant will have:
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Forklift licence desirable or willing to obtain
- Organised & self-motivated
- Great attention to detail
- Proficiency with engine diagnostics and specialised tools.
