In March 2021 we visited Hunts Marine in Yallah with the view of upsizing my current 2007 Quintrex 420 Dory, 30 HP 2 stroke tiller steer for something much easier to operate and more comfortable. We were introduced to Blake McArthur who explained the different boats available, the availability of these boats, the pricing & a trade-in value. Away we went with quotes for the 430 & 450 Fishabout Pro to ponder. I did some on line homework looking at various packages which were priced similarly but did not include any accessories, radio, ski pole, floor sealing. We decided on the 450, the trailer being longer with aluminium “I” beam frame & brakes, the boats themselves nearly identical. We then placed the order with Hunts Marine in mid March with delivery date expected late May, early June. We picked up the 450 Fishabout Pro in mid June from Hunts in Carlton. Blake sorted out the registration & insurance for us & brought the boat up from Yallah. Jon Hunt went through all the operating procedures, safety equipment & servicing requirements with us. The guys in the yard had washed & polished everything, great job guys. Once home I was surprised to find the cleaning products left in the boat for us. Great experience, great people to deal with. We would highly recommend Hunts Marine for all your boating needs.

I was very satisfied in the professionalism and service provided by Brad and his team at Hunts Marine Batemans Bay. Although I could have sought out boats on the floor in Sydney, I was committed in supporting the local industry and have no regrets. The team gave great advice on the order and local requirements for my needs and were always friendly. They gave me updates on arrival dates and returned phone calls promptly. Well done and I have no problems recommending you to others, which I have done. Best regards,
- Steve

Just wanted to congratulate Ian Coops on his excellent customer service. As this was my first new boat, Ian made the whole process an enjoyable experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hunts Marine Carlton and Ian Coops for purchase of a new or used boat. Regards,

We always buy our boats form Hunts Marine due to their industry knowledge and always looking after our students. Should they (the students) be looking for their first boat or advice, I can always trust them to look after them.

Sales consultant was John Pigot. John was a pleasure to deal with. He was informative and helpful. John guided me through the sale process and was always willing to help and kept me informed of the boat preparation. When my selected purchase failed on "test run" an alternative boat was offered and it meets and exceeds my requirements and expectations. Fantastic customer care. My family now enjoy a safe and reliable vessel, thank you.

So far the whole setup has been great. The stability of the boat is unbelievable, the way it handles at high sped is unreal. The 60hp Yamaha suits the boat very well and I am looking forward to fishing in it for a long time. The setup suits what I do, the service and friendliness of Brad and his staff (Batemans Bay) was excellent and professionalism was second to nowhere.
