I would like to give you a quick rundown on my experience purchasing a boat through your company. I might point out that this is the fourth I have purchased through Hunts Marine. This purchase was just as exciting and rewarding as all of the others have been. We initially went to the Trailer Boat Show to get a general idea what was on the market. I had injured my back and was having great difficulty leaning over the front and pulling up the anchor on my Quintrex Coastrunner. We met John Padman at the show and he went to great lengths to inform and demonstrate to me the advantages, for my type of boating, of the new renegade series of boats. He was not only well informed but was sympathetic to my needs without being pushy. He also described the advantages of a drive on, drive off trailer in regards to my physical abilities. After our conversation we walked around to the other exhibitions and found no vessels as suitable as the one he suggested. After the usual haggling John gave us a good deal including our trade-in and also kept us in the loop over the weeks that the boat was being constructed. I felt that John was professional, knowledgeable and extremely personable sales person.

We have done quite a few hours in the boat and are thrilled with its performance and very satisfied with our purchase.

The renegade 460 performs brilliantly in choppy water and gives us (particularly my wife) a very smooth and comfortable ride. In the package we purchased a 55 lb thrust MinnKota electric motor (as suggested by John Padman). This is my first electric and I am so impressed by its versatility and in particular its anchor feature which is also a major back saver. The package is quality in all aspects and in heading towards retirement I can see a long and happy future together. Yours faithfully

When I first came into Hunts Marine at Yallah I had an idea of what sort of boat I was looking to buy, but I had zero experience in boats. I had approx $20K to spend and was a little concerned that this was not going to be enough to buy a new boat as another boat shop had told me that I would only be able to afford a second hand boat for that price range. Ash was the sales lady at Hunts that served me. I could not be happier with her service. She assured me that the new boat I had found on your web page was a great choice for me. I was looking to buy my husband a new boat for his birthday but had to keep it as a surprise. Ash made sure of what activities we would be doing with the boat and sold me the Fishabout 430 that day.

I was worried that because I had 3 months till the surprise that I would get a phone call or some mail that would give the surprise away but Ash made sure she never contacted me. She waited till I contacted her for different reasons. What I liked about Hunts Yallah is that it was very casual in that I never felt pressured at anytime and I felt at ease at what I was buying once I spoke to Ash. It wasn't a typical sales yard. Also after I picked up the boat, the follow up phone calls were much appreciated by my husband and I so we could ask any questions. My husband was very surprised and over the moon about his Quintrex 430 Fishabout. A nice touch to the West Tigers stripes that I picked for the side of the boat was the Tigers key ring that Ash had attached to the key.

The whole rig appeared in good order at time of purchase. After filling with fuel the first time it became apparent that previous owner had done some aftermarket changes to the fuel system which resulted in 50 litres of petrol pouring into the bilge. This could have been fatal. Ian Coops asked me to get the boat back to your workshop immediately. Jason in your workshop was extremely helpful and rectified the problem. We are more than satisfied with the outcome. The moral is, check all incoming boats for bodgy work by amateurs.

I bought the 340 Cartopper in the hope that it would satisfy the following requirements. 1) Boat was light enough for one person to move from the land to waters edge using 2 tinnie wheels. 2) Ease of movement of boat over sand flats and weed beds, whilst fully loaded and 8hp motor attached. 3) Stable when under power or stationary. 4) Easy to get into or out of the boat. 5) Comfortable to travel in and fish from. I am pleased to report the boat has more then satisfied all the criteria and am happy to recommend this boat to anyone with similar needs.

CR2800 with new gen 5.3 Volvo duo prop motor has more than enough top end power and speed. Bottom end power is also great, getting onto the plane quickly with boat fully loaded. Stability around Sydney Harbour is good even in windy and choppy conditions. Cooking is a breeze with Magma BBQ and dining is comfortable with the large table. There is plenty of room to sleep with a large cabin bed and it is comfortable. Swimming off the swim deck is great using the ladder to climb aboard. Fishing is a treat with the S/S baitboard. Favourite points of the boat is the sunroof and swimdeck and the TV reception is great on Sydney Harbour. Really happy with Duo props. Manoeuvring is good at pontoons. Very happy with noise and minimum vibration. Trimtabs work well and are easy to use with trim tab lights. Great navigation system. (Ray Marine). Many thanks to John Padman.

I purchased my new 420 Busta from Hunts Marine Wollongong. Blake was very helpful. As for the boat, WOW, it's great. Updated from a small runabout with a 6hp to the Busta with the Suzuki 30hp. It's a big difference, the boat is great, very spacious, handles well even in choppy water. It's a smooth ride, plenty of storage. The boat is a perfect size, easy to launch and retrieve on my own yet big enough to head just outside on a nice day. Overall I'm very happy with the 420 Busta, it's the perfect all rounder, it also helped me land my first Mulloway. I'm very happy thanks to Quintrex and the team at Hunts Marine. P.S. Side decks are a must.
